So there was this young couple, adorable & sweet, who were buying their first home together. The two of them were actually three, and all were looking forward to getting into a home they could call their own. After a few trips out, I spotted a lovely gem that just came to market. Springing into mother bear mode, I suggested to this couple that we see, we like, we make an offer…stat.
Other important maneuvers by mother bear: befriending the other agent, having all our documents ready, bragging about the homes features to the owner, all the goodies.
And while the rest of the bears were sleeping, we snagged our prize while other offers lined up behind us. We figure we landed a home with market value about $35,000 more than we paid. Its a good day in the woods.
